This isn't just a t-shirt. It's the first piece of clothing from a community that started with a cardboard sign, a parking lot, and a 2006 Honda CR-V with 317,000 miles.
In 2006 my parents bought a Honda CR-V brand new. It was more than a car; it was a symbol of everything they worked for. In 2013 when I turned 18 they handed me the keys. I've been driving it ever since. 317,000 miles later that same car, Helga, became the center of this community.
CRVs and Coffee began as a simple idea; what if the most ordinary car could bring the most extraordinary people together? I think we found the answer.
$15 from every shirt goes directly to Peter Jacob's NYC Marathon fundraiser for Apex for Youth; a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved Asian American youth in New York City.
